Seed Capital Portfolio Company Trustpilot Goes Public on the London Stock Exchange.
We’re happy to announce, that Trustpilot — the leading platform for companies to build trust with consumers has now gone public on The London Stock Exchange.
Seed Capital who was the largest shareholder in Trustpilot, was the first investor to believe in the vision and potential of what today is one of the greatest success stories in Denmark. Trustpilot is the 7th unicorn to come out of Denmark, and we are proud to have been a part of this adventure from early stage all the way to going public.
Founded in 2007 by CEO Peter Holten Mühlmann in his parent’s basement, Trustpilot’s mission is to serve both consumers and businesses in the spirit of trust. With more than 120 million consumer reviews of over 500,000 domains, Trustpilot empowers consumers to share their feedback while giving businesses of a powerful tool to earn trust by listening and responding to customers.
Trustpilot is today a global leader within online consumer reviews and employs approx. 700 people. The head office is still located in Copenhagen even though the company has chosen to be listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Seed Capital’s journey on board started in 2008, where our General Partner Niels Vejrup Carlsen spotted Peter, who back then was a 24-year old student from Aarhus that had a splendid idea and vision. Since then, Seed Capital has participated in every funding round, and helped getting some of the best investors on board as well as the chairman for the board.
The success story of Trustpilot proves that in Denmark we are able to compete with bigger countries on delivering innovative tech startups. The company’s path from startup to category leader in reviewer platforms is exemplary and will hopefully inspire the next generation of Danish entrepreneurs.
